At CEDIA EXPO 2009, custom installers, manufacturers and industry notables came together to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the Elf Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing “Rooms of Magic” theaters and entertainment spaces in children’s hospitals, autism centers, Ronald McDonald houses and centers for abused children around the country.
The Elf Foundation has installed 77 “Rooms of Magic” since its inception. The projects are made possible because custom installation companies and vendors volunteer their time, talent and products to provide children and their families with a place to escape and enjoy the magic of movies and music.
CEDIA EXPO attendees joined the Elf Foundation for a reception to celebrate the group's 8th anniversary.
Elf volunteers from Orlando's Electronic Systems Design: Michael Voll, Anika Ruff and Malcolm Wertz. The company has installed Rooms of Magic in the Arnold Palmer Hospital.
