We believe our company can do well even as it does good. This belief drives our corporate charitable practices - from the philanthropic efforts of our company to the volunteer hours donated by our employees to community initiatives.

Philanthropy plays an important part in our ambition to be a good corporate citizen. It allows us to connect with people and make a positive difference in the communities across the country.

Here are several of the non-profit charities we support and ask for your support as well.

Located in the heart of historic Philadelphia, the National Liberty Museum is dedicated to defusing violence and bigotry by celebrating America’s heritage of freedom and the wonderfully diverse society it has produced.

The Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913 “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” Now the nation’s premier civil rights/human relations agency, ADL fights anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals and protects civil rights for all.

The Elf Foundation was founded in 2001 to create private entertainment theaters – ‘Rooms of Magic’ - for children’s hospitals, shelters for abused children, autism centers, and children’s rehabilitation centers throughout North America.

The NAPCO Trust is based on staff contributions that are matched dollar for dollar by the company. There are 21 employees who donate money out of each paycheck.  The charitable organizations the Trust donated to in 2008 are:

Hall & Lowry Foundation (this is a local organization which purchases Christmas gifts for needy children)
Walk Now for Autism
Mentor Me Community Support
National Multiple Sclerosis Society
HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy
Support Center for Child Advocates
Susan G. Komen Foundation
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
American Heart Association
CMS Foundation

Every year we have a United Way Campaign

We have four blood drives a year for the American Red Cross. Approximately 40 employees donate blood at each drive.

Every Halloween we have a candy drive for the patients at St. Christopher's Hospital.  Approximately 90 bags of candy are donated each year.

We have supported the Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission in many ways.  Most recently, 15 of our employees served lunch at the Mission.  The Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission meets the physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs of homeless and disadvantaged people in the Philadelphia area.
