Reporting to you from the Integrated Systems Europe Show (ISE) from Amsterdam. This is the 10th ISE show and a couple of quick facts are that in 2012 the show had a record nearly 41,000 attendees—an increase of 17.2% from 2011.
The total audience is 13,500 systems integrators and installers from 130 countries, 7,350 product distributors from over 100 countries and 2,000 end-user customers representing every key AV application sector.
Commercial applications have been the order of the day as the show opens.
A couple of the new products that were announced in Europe today are the Furman CN-3600S E (220V-240V, 16A capacity) SmartSequencer, the first power management solution for the EMEA market for Furman’s Contractor Series. Designed for commercial A/V installers, the unit combines optional BlueBOLT functionality with AC power distribution, protection, filtration, and sequential system power on/off.
There was also multi-room wireless audio solutions from ELAN’s Android and Door Locks App, as well as streaming content and drivers, Niles’ System Integration Amplifiers, mini-subwoofers and garden speakers, Xantech’s groundbreaking new line of IR and IP connectivity solutions, Panamax’s MR Series of power management solutions that combine form and function for today’s home theater environments, the first BlueBOLT-enabled product in the MD family of direct plug-in devices—the MD2-ZB.
Not forgetting in-wall speakers, Sunfire is also exhibiting their New HRSIW8 in-wall subwoofer.
