CEDIA this week released a white paper which states that LCD and Plasma displays account for over three quarters of displays installed in the home.
The white paper, titled "Selecting Display Size based on Room Size and Seating," is meant to recommend methodologies to ESCs for determining ideal display size.
“Display size can make or break a room especially in a multi-purpose space,”
Dave Pedigo, Senior Director of Technology and Learning, said as part of the white paper's release.
“It is important not only to calculate the appropriate size display for the room, but ESCs also need to be able to explain their recommendations to their client. This white paper can help bridge that gap of understanding for both the ESC and the consumer.”
