Marantz this week announced the debut of its AV8801 AV Preamplifier/Processor, its new flagship model. The product has an MSRP of $3,599.99, and its meant as a companion to its MM8077 power amplifier.
"Marantz has a longstanding reputation for building components that allow the most discerning consumers and professional custom integrators to create uncompromising dream systems," Yoshinori Yamada, the D&M Group's product planning manager, said as part of the announcement.
"With our AV8801 preamp, we are bringing many of the same technologies and innovations that distinguish our world-renowned Reference Series to a new, more affordable price range for the premium home theater category."
