In South Korea Tuesday, LG unveiled its new "top of the class" TV. The LW980S sports the company's Cinema 3D passive-glasses technology, connected TV functions and what the company calls Nano Full LED.
"The LW980S is the crown jewel of TVs as it includes the most advanced technologies and features we've developed at LG over the years," Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company, said as part of the announcement. "We've set a new benchmark in connectivity, picture quality and sheer viewing enjoyment."
The LW980S will be shown at the IFA event in Germany next month. No North American release date has been announced.
