“For the last 3 quarters Vizio has been #1 in TV sales in the US. Vizio has invested heavily and believes in performance up and costs down," chief sales officer Randy Waynick said. "Also, our soundbar business has outpaced the industry. We look at where consumers shop and what they buy.”
The company also launched its new 47-inch and 55-inch XVT 6 series theater 3D HDTV, with access to Vizio Internet Apps Plus.
Waynick attributed the company's success to an efficient business model, customer service excellence, consumer demand [in terms of] dictating technologies, great product for great value and what he calls an evolutionary go to market strategy.
“We are delivering on the Vizio’s brand promise of providing 'Entertainment Freedom For All," Waynick added, "the driving force behind all of our sales successes. 'Freedom For All' means entertainment availability, anywhere, anytime, anything and for Everyone.”
