Yamaha Debuts Receiver Line

Yamaha this week unveiled a new line of A/V receivers, noted for their easy integration with customers' mobile devices.

The new products are the 7.1-channel RX-V671 ($599.95) and RX-V571 ($499.95), as well as the 5.1-channel RX-V471 ($379.95) and RX-V371 ($249.95). All except the RX-V371 sport USB iPhone/iPod input.

“Regardless of our customer’s preference in mobile device, Yamaha has the solution to easily connect them with their home theater experience to enjoy hours of rich content,” Tom Sumner, President, Yamaha Electronics Corporation, said as part of the announcement. “And with enhanced networking capabilities, our new A/V receivers offer home theater enthusiasts more control over that content, at unprecedented prices.”

The products will ship this spring.
