Streaming music service MOG announced this week that MOG will be available on LG's new SmartTV platform. The platform is available through LG's new HDTVs and Blu-ray players, as well as the company's upcoming SmartTV upgrader.
MOG announced the same day that its service is also coming to the Sonos system later this spring.
The service is available for LG in both "Basic" and "Primo" versions, costing $4.99 and $9.99 per month. Sonos is offering only the Primo system.
"Bringing MOG music streaming to LG SmartTV further enhances the broad array of connected content enjoyed by consumers," Jay Vandenbree, senior vice president and head of the Home Entertainment business unit for LG, said as part of the announcement. "MOG is the perfect complement to our new 3D Blu-ray home theater system, designed to deliver a terrific home audio experience."
