Sharp Names Sales Execs

John Homlish and Paul Norton join company

Sharp has made two hires of industry veteran in is domestic sales operations, with John Homlish joining the company as vice president of sales for home entertainment and Paul Norton as  director of Western Region Sales.

Homlish, a veteran of Casio, Sony and Samsung, will report to John Herrington, the Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America's president. Norton, the former director of U.S. Sales for Hitachi America, will report to Homlish.

In addition, Bruce Fairchild has moved to the new role of senior director of Channel Marketing.

"I am pleased to welcome John and Paul to the SEMCA sales team, and Bruce into his new role," Herrington said in a statement. "These gentlemen will play an instrumental role as we position Sharp for future growth and improved profitability."
