The PRO Group announced Thursday that it has teamed up with the Consumer Electronics Exchange to provide a recycling and trade-in service for its customers.
The service allows customers to trade in unwanted electronics in exchange for retailer gift cards.
"It’s important for PRO Group to find innovative solutions for our members to provide the best products and services to consumers," PRO Group executive director Dave Workman said as part of the announcement.
"Consumer Electronics Exchange allows our members to quickly and easily provide real value to their customers for their unwanted electronics allowing them to more easily step up to the products that they really care about.
"This also provides a valuable solution from a recycling aspect by helping reduce a portion of the millions of pounds of electronics that are unfortunately discarded into our nation’s landfills.”
