Screen Innovations said this week that it has begun shipping its Zero Edge FLEX projection screen, which was introduced at CEDIA Expo.
A display with almost no bezel has been unveiled by LG. The company
now has a 5.3-inch panel with a bezel of just 0.7mm, and
that is 0.2mm thinner than a credit card. No plastic frame is
used with the panel since LG has improved Neo Edge technology. That

Screen Innovations (SI) Thursday announced the arrival of Zero
Edge FLEX, which it described as "a projection screen that
boasts a a flexible form factor and a Zero Edge appearance."
Screen Innovations said this week that it has enlarged its Black Diamond ambient-light-rejecting screen. The size is now 16:9 120” and 2.35:1 150”, in Fixed and Zero Edge formats.
Screens have always been lacking in the industrial design department. After all, there is not much you can do with a bright white or murky grayish flap of material other than hang it on the wall and enjoy the great image it has to offer. Even screen frames are lackluster–literally. They are often made of black velvet material meant to absorb light spilling over from the designated image area onto the frame.
