The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) Monday announced this year's winners of its annual vendor awards. The award winners, being presented for the ninth straight year, were nominated by HTSA's board of directors and chosen by association members.
The Bowers & Wilkins Panorama was named HTSA's Product of the Year, while Lutron's Homeworks RF series took home the award for Custom Product of the Year.
On the vendor side, HTSA named Integra Vendor of the Year for the third straight year, thanks to its "commitment to HTSA, as well as its outstanding product quality, effective programs and advertising, renowned customer service, and timely delivery to dealers earned them a unanimous decision." Integra's vice president of sales, Keith Haas, was also named HTSA's Man of the Year.
In addition, Universal Remote Control was named both most profitable vendor and best vendor training, while Chief and Sanus were picked as most supportive vendor.
“It is with great pleasure that we recognize those individuals and companies that performed beyond excellence for the group” HTSA Executive Director Richard Glikes said as part of the announcement. “They represent the manufacturers, products and people who most significantly influenced HTSA businesses and the world of high-end consumer electronics in 2009.”
