New Facebook Music Campaign For Meridian

Meridian Audio last week announced the launch of a new Facebook-based “My Collection” campaign, which is meant to encourage users to share their favorite albums on the popular social networking site.

The three-month-long campaign will entail users uploading the covers and other information about their favorite albums to Facebook, allowing other users to comment and share their own as well.

“With so many leisure activities competing for the little free time which people have and the vast choice of music that is readily available, their attention can easily become diverted away from their existing collection,” Meridian Audio’s global head of marketing, Graeme Taylor, said as part of the announcement.

“The social networking campaign gives Meridian Audio the unique opportunity to engage with over 300 million people worldwide and encourage users to re-discover the enjoyment of listening to music which they already own.”
