Mark of Excellence Awards Presented

The Consumer Electronics Association over the weekend named the winners of its 2011 Mark of Excellence Awards. The awards, presented by CEA’s TechHome Division, were handed out at the EH Expo in Orlando.

On the supplier side, Paradigm’s Reference MilleniaSub with PT-2 Wireless Transmitter won the Platinum Audio Product of the Year Award, while Crestron’s 32×32 DigitalMedia Switch was picked as Video Product of the Year. Crestron also won Wireless Product of the Year for the PTX Prodigy Handheld Touchpanel.

URC’s Network Keypad Solution and ELAN’s g! system shared honors for Control System of the Year. HAI’s Omnistat 2 won Green Product of the Year, Crestron’s Mobile Pro G won both Human Interface Product of the Year and Software Application of the Year and Crestron’s Sonnex Tools won Installation Product of the Year.

Autonomic Controls’ Mirage Media Server took platinum honors for Media Server of the Year, while NuVo Technologies’ Freestanding Renovia won for Multi-room Audio/Video Product of the Year. HAI’s Wireless Driveway Sensor won platinum for Security Product of the Year, while Niles Audio’s ICS Ceiling Mount Loudspeakers was named Speaker of the Year.

Meanwhile, Roland Graham won the TechHome Leadership Award.
