As HTSA Fall Conference Approaches, Members "Fired Up"
About a month out now, HTSA is ready to end the year on a high note at their annual Fall conference held October 25-27 in Chicago. HTSA is reporting a turnaround year for the buying group with record attendance numbers, following the momentum that Jon Robbins brought back to the group in 2016.
“I’m really proud of the way our members and vendors alike have pulled together to achieve a period of extraordinary growth,” said Robbins, Executive Director of Home Technology Specialists of America. “We have an amazing agenda planned for this Fall Conference with a nationally recognized Hall of Fame keynote speaker offering truly valuable information, as well as a series of presentations and classes to keep members at the forefront of the latest trends and methods."
The underscore for the whole conference is seeing what Tom Doherty has been cooking up after his recent appointment as head of Special Projects for the buying group. Doherty will be showing the organization a "sneak peek of some of the projects." Joining Doherty on the keynote side, Connie Podesta, an award-winning author of 7 books and Hall of Fame speaker of national renown, will challenge members to re-think "business as usual," touching on customized material for maximizing client relationships, offering fresh data profiling Millennials and other client generations’ unique personality attributes.
The week will wrap up with a workshop by Richard Millson and his experience as both a manufacturer and an integrator. As the founder of Millson Custom Solutions, Millson will share invaluable insight to running a successful business. Rob Krug of Sonic Wall is also slotted to give a follow-up presentation on internet security, after painting a picture to the damage hackers can have in a system installation during the Spring Conference.
