HiFi House’s Robbins Elected HTSA President

HiFi House President Jon Robbins has been elected president of Home Technology Specialists of America, which named its new board Friday.

Robbins replaces Bob Gullo, who is leaving the board after six years. New board members include Jon Summer of Cybersound & Security and Jim Richards of Futurehome Systems & Design, who join Brian Hudkins, Joe Barrett, Brad Whitehead, Mike McMaster, Leon Shaw and Craig Abplanalp.

The new board will take their seats in January of 2012.

“Both Jim and Jon represent excellent choices for the board from among the vast talent and experience we have in our membership and I’m looking forward to working closely with both as we continue to grow and strengthen HTSA” Bob Hana, the new Managing Director of HTSA, said in a statement.

“The energy and commitment that have been added to the group by Jim and Jon’s election to the board will be immeasurable. They will each add fresh perspectives to continue to further the HTSA evolution,” Robbins said.
