Bryston Mourns Passing of Craig Bell
It is with great sadness that Bryston announces the passing of our colleague and good friend Craig Bell. Craig was one of a kind and his contribution to this world was significant. Craig was with Bryston for over 25 years as our VP of sales and marketing in the USA. His professionalism and sense of humor was greatly admired. He had a knack for cutting through the clutter of life and getting to the root of any given issue. His love for the audio industry and the joy he brought to others was without equal.
Craig had decades of established relationships with celebrity and noteworthy clients, and had taken a unique and highly effective approach to sales, marketing strategies, as well as collaboration on new product design and development. He was also dedicated to the advancement of professional sound recording. He enjoyed listening to a wide array of music from classic rock to heavy metal and could always identify the artist and tell us the history behind almost any piece of music.
During his early years, Craig was a percussionist with several local bands and played at the Whisky A-Go-Go and Starwood nightclubs in the 1970’s and 80’s. He toured as percussionist technician for R & B group Rose Royce, performing in the Kool Jazz Festivals across the country. He gave up performing to enjoy family life with his wife and two daughters but always enjoyed listening to music with his friends. He leaves behind countless precious memories that none of us will ever forget.
Our thoughts are with his family and everyone at Bryston will miss this unique and wonderful man ever so much.
