Netgear Faces Class Action for Defective Cable Modems

A team of San Francisco lawyers has brought a class action suit against the tried and true networking manufacturer Netgear stating that their CM700 high-speed cable modem contains "serious defects" that result in high spikes in network latency -- and Netgear has acknowledged the issue.
